Each DIRECTOR’S CREDENTIAL CLASSES involve some online training, 10 projects and TWO WEEKENDS, 
a total of 100 hours of actual work to receive Alternative Certification for Directors of Licensed Child Care Centers and Registered Family Homes in the State of Texas. We are approved by licensing, Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and our DIRECTOR’S CREDENTIAL is

Credential, and thank you for expressing an interest in our upcoming
training program. This training meets the requirements set by the
Department of Family and Protective Services for alternative
certification and is listed in the Appendix 3000-3: Day Care Director
Credentialing, Organizations Recognized by Child Care Licensing.
 
 Prospective students must be and show evidence of being 21 years
of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and two
years experience working in a licensed child care center or licensed
child-care family home.
 
 The class consists of 40 hours of face-to-face training by
Certified Registered Trainers who have 30 plus years of experience as a
Director of a licensed child care center and/or Registered Family Home.
The first and second weekends are scheduled and will involve 20 hours
each weekend of classroom instruction and the beginning of completion
of assigned projects. There will be a total of 10 projects to be completed
before the end of class time together.

The Director's Certification Program is an online course that can be completed within a two week period at your pace.  You are given access to the course for a period of two weeks, if you require more time, simply email us for continued access. The course can also be taken as a face to face course, which is completed in two weekends.

Our program is approved by Texas Department of Human Resources, Childcare Licensing. Both of our programs are very detailed and has a strong focus on "Childcare Daily Operations".

       This certification includes instruction in Early Childhood Development and Business Management, 

        Childcare Management with strong emphasis on Daily Operations, leadership and building strong 
        parent relationships. Our Director Certification is an online course.
 

 Admissions Requirements:
Individuals applying for this course are required to:

  • Have two years of child care experience in a licensed facility
  • Be 21 years of Age 
  •   present proof of secondary education (high school diploma/GED certificate or Higher)
